We designed a new house pre-Covid, but breaking ground halted when post-Covid construction costs skyrocketed. We quickly changed course to accommodate budget constraints with a novel approach to construction in an area where super-large projects suck up resources. Our new concept modifies their existing house with an expanded and reconfigured layout. Internally, we’ll modernize throughout, using energy-efficient and climate-friendly materials. We’ll also bring in more light and incorporate the architectural features that make this property a Gillis Architects design.
